At this event, NGC highlighted its 10MW 3P1H sliding bearing gearbox. The 10MW integrated high-speed gearbox is designed for large base onshore wind turbines in desert regions. Compared to traditional gearbox products, its torque density has been increased by more than 15%, significantly enhancing its competitiveness and efficiency. Thanks to the integrated rigid connection at the low-speed end, vibrations and noise have been greatly reduced compared to traditional products. The use of a coupling connection between the gearbox and the generator significantly reduces maintenance complexity, lowering the risk of leakage due to gearbox seal failure, and improving the maintainability and overall quality of the product. NGC has mastered the core technology of sliding bearings for wind turbine gearboxes, which have numerous applications in a wide variety of product models, and have been promoted and industrialized throughout the industry, significantly boosting the company’s competitiveness.
Deep Integration of Mechanical and Digital Technologies
NGC has deeply integrated its mechanical gearboxes with digital technologies, adhering to the principle of multi-domain innovation to further upgrade the GearSight platform. This proprietary software and hardware system, with completely independent intellectual property rights, provides users with a full range of services including health status monitoring, early warning, and diagnostic operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment transmission chains. It ensures full life-cycle closed-loop management of PLM, further enhancing the company's overall competitiveness.
Photovoltaic Products
Leveraging this wind energy exhibition, NGC also introduced one of its core components for photovoltaic power generation systems. NGC photovoltaic products use a single enveloping toroidal worm gear set that transmits high power forwards and locks itself backwards, bearing high wind torque.
