In response to the national "Dual Carbon" strategy, and to promote the high-quality, efficient development of the wind power industry while aligning with the industry trends of specialized division of labor and win-win cooperation, the "Wind Drive Energy--Link for Synergy" event was held in Xiamen on April 16th. It was hosted by three core component enterprises: NGC, Sungrow, and Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. Wind power OEMs, developers, association leaders and industry experts from across the country gathered in the city of Xiamen, also known as the "Egret Island" to explore innovative paths for technical cooperation and map out a blueprint for the high-quality development of the wind power industry.

Collaboration Between Three Core Enterprises, Demonstrating a New Concept of Industrial Synergy
This event was jointly organized by three major component manufacturers from across the wind power industry chain: gearboxes (NGC), electrical systems (Sungrow), and blades (Zhuzhou Times). These three enterprises adopted the slogan "Wind Drive Energy" as their main theme, where "Wind" corresponds to blades, capturing the power of nature; "Drive" corresponds to gearboxes, transmitting surging power; and "Energy" corresponds to electrical systems, converting clean electricity. This unique combination reflects the interconnected and mutually beneficial ecological relationship within the wind power industry chain, and further demonstrates the forward-looking nature and sense of responsibility of core component enterprises in actively breaking down barriers and promoting in-depth industrial collaboration.
As a global expert in wind power gearboxes and power transmission solutions, NGC was founded in 1969, and has been deeply involved in the wind power industry for over two decades. It has provided more than 127,000 high-quality wind power gearboxes with a total installed capacity exceeding 400 GW to over 30 countries worldwide, maintaining a global market share of over 30% for many consecutive years. The company's cumulative global delivery of yaw and pitch gearboxes has now reached nearly one million units, demonstrating its strong capabilities in the field of wind power transmission.
General Manager Gu Xiaobin, as a representative of the three parties, expressed in his speech his determination and vision to deepen collaboration within the industrial chain, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the wind power industry and contributing to the realization of the "Dual Carbon" goals.

Adhering to Physical Boundaries for Common Progress with Technological Development
The global wind power industry is now entering a golden period of rapid technological advancement, where large capacity, high efficiency and intelligence are becoming the mainstream. Frontier technologies such as AI are further empowering the entire process of wind turbine design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance. However, as a complex piece of heavy-duty precision equipment, the research, development and production of wind turbines and their core components must always adhere to rigorous physical boundaries and engineering principles. The slightest technical shortcoming or mismatch in any link may affect the reliability, efficiency, and full-life-cycle cost of the entire system.
At the event, numerous industry guests gathered together to deliver in-depth and forward-looking speeches, and to share the latest information. Association leaders, representatives from several mainstream OEMs, and industry experts took the stage to share their views and exchange experiences on topics such as the development of the wind power industry, industrial value chain collaboration, and technological innovation and practice, offering suggestions and advice for the high-quality development of the industry.
In his report entitled "Improving Quality and Efficiency, Enhancing Full-Chain Value," General Manager Gu Xiaobin elaborated on NGC's review, implementation and outlook in terms of business development, technological innovation, and cost optimization.

Research and Development Director Sun Yizhong and After-market Senior Manager Wang Fudong shared their views on the company's technological research and development, quality control and after-market services, demonstrating the company's core capabilities and service philosophy.
During the event, the three parties also jointly held the "Over 100 GW Milestone Joint Release" ceremony to witness an important milestone in their development in the wind power field, demonstrating everybody’s firm determination in achieving win-win results and jointly promoting industrial growth.

Gathering Strength for Win-Win Results, Jointly Exploring New Frontiers in Wind Power Development
The participating guests believe that, in the face of historical opportunities in global energy transformation and the severe challenges of market competition, it is only by deepening the specialized division of labor and strengthening win-win cooperation along the industrial chain that maximum efficiency and value can be achieved. In this way, China's wind power industry will be able to move on from the "scale advantage" stage to a new period of high-quality development featuring "technological breakthroughs and quality improvements."
In the future, NGC will continue to uphold its mission of being "Geared for a Better Future." The company will adhere to its original aspiration of technological innovation and quality first, continuously deepening collaboration with partners both upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and working hand in hand with industry peers to lead the way in harnessing wind energy. In this way, they will contribute greater impetus to the active development of the global clean energy cause with more reliable transmission technologies and more efficient system solutions.
