Introduction

he GearSight gearbox diagnostic analysis software is mainly used for the post-processing of data. The system can handle data from various bearings and NGC gearboxes, and can automatically identify and calculate the fault characteristic frequency of each piece of equipment against the corresponding NGC gearbox model number. In this way, it can identify any faults in bearings, shafts and gears in a fast and convenient manner.

The system offers more than 20 data analysis methods, including time-domain waveforms, frequency spectrums, cepstrums, envelope demodulation, cross phase, waterfall plots, and trend charts.

The system can be used to inspect a trend chart, which can classify and collect data, including vibration and impact information, based on conditions such as speed, power and load. It then creates the corresponding trend chart to enable a more detailed analysis of the unit’s vibration status.
