NGC Receives Another Brazil Subway Gearbox Order

Publish Date: 2014-06-09

After receiving Brazil Subway gearbox orders subsequently in 2011 and 2013, NGC has recently received another Brazil Subway gearbox order. The product model in this new order is the PDM490 double-stage driving structure subway gearbox, with a quantity of more than 300 sets. The previous subway gearbox orders for two Brazil subway lines have been delivered, and the products are in good operating condition.

The subway gearbox is one of the key components of the subway bogie traction system. The NGC-developed subway gearbox has achieved high reliability under variable loads and high vibrations in complex conditions through a simulation analysis for working conditions of rolling stocks. The maintenance-free life of the gearbox is more than 1.2 million kilometers, satisfying the requirements for low noise and high density power.
