NGC’s project awarded the first prize

Recently, the key technology research and industrialization of high-end gear transmission system for wind power and marine project was awarded the first prize of 2013 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology, which was completed by Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd , the subsidiary of Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. (“NGC”). It was the key project of "key basic parts and general use components" of "Eleventh Five-Year" National Technology Support Program.

The China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award is according to the relevant provisions stipulated in "National Science and Technology Awards Regulations". The award was co-sponsored by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and approved by the State Ministry of Science and Technology, which is the comprehensive science and technology awards for the national machinery industry and is registered in the authorities of National Science and Technology Award, which represents the highest level in the field of technological innovation. The winning projects are based on the independent R&D and innovation, which have been actually applied in the production and produced good economic and social benefits.

The technological achievements appraisal meeting for the key technology research and industrialization of high-end gear transmission system of wind power and marine was held in Nanjing on March 25 this year. The Committee agreed that the key technologies of the project have made lots of innovation in high-speed and heavy-duty mechanical drive system with obvious industrialization effect and huge economic and social benefits; the development and integrated technology of design theories and the key technologies have reached the leading domestic and international advanced level , such as MW wind power gearboxes, large and high-speed vessels gearboxes, high-speed and heavy-duty gas turbine gearboxes, big modulus gears and racks for marine platform lifting.

The project aimed at the systematic research for common technology and proprietary technology of megawatt (≤ 5 MW ) wind turbines , large-scale and high-speed ships, heavy-duty gas turbines , offshore platforms and other major equipments with high-speed and heavy-duty mechanical drive system, established the coupled nonlinear dynamics model of "Gear - shaft - bearings - housing ", and put forward the dynamic structure optimization methods and techniques for noise and vibration analysis of gearboxes and tip relief used for designing of the megawatt-class wind turbine gearboxes and large-scale and high-speed marine gearboxes; and put forward the dynamic performance and reliability of design evaluation methods based on the wind turbines with flexible multi -body dynamics under the conditions of megawatt gearboxes with variable wind and changing load for designing the wind turbine gearboxes ; and put forward the gear transmission dynamic stability analysis for high-speed and heavy-duty gas turbine and thermo-elastic coupling analysis methods and techniques for analyzing stability of the gas turbine gearboxes , analysis and design of tooth glue failure ; and put forward the technology of heat distortion control of large thin ring gears, controlling grinding crack and burn of tooth surface and strengthening tooth face for manufacturing of the megawatt-class wind turbine gearboxes and large and high-speed marine gearboxes ; and put forward the acceleration load spectrum fatigue test evaluation techniques of the gearboxes based on LDD load spectrum and sequential load spectrum with change working condition for the reliability test evaluation of the megawatt-class wind turbine gearboxes and large and high-speed marine gearboxes.
