NGC Wind Turbine Gearboxes delivered to Alstom

Main gearboxes for wind turbines which were developed by NGC for Alstom France were delivered to Alstom recently. These gearboxes will be installed in 1.67 MW wind turbines and will be used in China and Spain as well.
 
Alstom, a large-scale French company, set up its headquartered near Paris. Its main business covers power generation and rail transportation. After several years of cooperation between with NGC in rail transportation since 2007, NGC has gained respect and trust from Alstom. In 2010, Alstom placed orders to NGC for producing gearboxes for its 570km/h AGV high speed train. The cooperation in the wind industry between two companies this time shows that a further step has been made by two companies in the cooperation relationship.
 
NGC is one of the largest gearbox makers in the world in wind industry. Its main gearboxes for 1.5MW and 2MW wind turbines have been supplied to both domestic and overseas customers in large quantity, and all these products are in world first-class in technology, moreover, NGC has also achieved great development in bigger gearbox for 3MW wind turbines.
